Anti Wrinkle Cream Reviews -- How To Separate The Wheat From The Chaff

If you are relying on anti wrinkle cream reviews to "show you the way", you could end up disappointed. I have seen women compare anti aging wrinkle cream, carefully. They look for popular products that are highly rated among beauty experts.

I have also seen them in tears after an adverse reaction. I will not mention any specific brand names in this article. Editorial guidelines insist that I refrain from saying anything that could be considered "slander", even though everything that I write is true and well-researched, I don't want to cause trouble.

So, what I will tell you about are the ingredients in some of the negative anti wrinkle cream reviews. If you avoid those ingredients, you should be safe.

Paraffin Wax

If you compare anti aging wrinkle cream and you read the ingredients label, you will see that many of them contain paraffin wax. It is also the primary ingredient in chap-stick and that is how women describe the way that these products feel when you put them on...thick, heavy, like chap-stick.

The paraffin tends to "migrate" into the eyes while one is trying to sleep. Even application is difficult, because the waxy sticks pull and stretch the skin. That's going to do more harm than good in the long run.

I would suggest that you only compare anti aging wrinkle cream that is free of paraffin and other petroleum derivatives, including petrolatum and mineral oil. They might feel good initially, but in most cases they just feel greasy. Eventually, they will cause excessive dryness and can "speed" the signs of aging.

Copper

A zinc and copper protein peptide complex can increase the production of new cells and fibers, but the amount of copper in these peptides is tiny. Large amounts of copper or unbound copper can cause serious allergic reactions. The results can be permanent.

The saddest anti wrinkle cream reviews that I have read are for products that contain copper. While allergic reaction is rare, it happens often enough. I would suggest that you only compare anti aging wrinkle cream that contains tiny amounts of copper and zinc bound to the protein keratin.

Artificial Preservatives & Added Fragrances

I have read about more allergic reactions in anti wrinkle cream reviews than in reviews for any other type of personal care product. There's a simple reason. The skin becomes more delicate with age and we are more likely to have adverse and allergic reactions. The major culprits are artificial preservatives and added fragrances.

If I am looking for something for personal use, I only compare anti aging wrinkle cream that is free of artificial preservatives and added fragrances. Natural botanical extracts smell just fine, without being concentrated. Natural vitamin E is an effective preservative, as is grape seed oil or extract.

Something New

I have only read a few anti wrinkle cream reviews for a new line of products that are very well designed. Those that I have read have been all positive. Look for something new and see the changes that you want.
